If you've been to a Disney on Ice show, I don't even have to tell you how AMAZING they are. It is a true extravaganza, enjoyable for both kids and adults -- and this probably doesn't come as much of a surprise. You know Disney's not going to put its name on something that's not spectacular! The latest Disney on Ice show is called '100 Years of Magic' and it's coming to Nashville's Bridgestone Arena October 6-9....

I would never have known that Edy's Slow Churned Shakes and Smoothies existed if I hadn't been asked to try them out as part of a BlogHer review. In a nutshell, they are individual-sized cups that you can find in the freezer section at the grocery. Staying active is a priority for me. As the primary caretaker of two small children, I need to have the energy to do my job well. But with all the demands on my time, it's hard to carve out an hour each day for exercise. I've attacked this problem by making an effort to go to the YMCA every single day and work out on the elliptical for an hour. This is also my reading time, which is my personal incentive to work...

In fact, I could think of many, many ways I'd rather spend an afternoon or evening than trying to convince my son to come out of the plastic mouse maze rigged to the ceiling of the restaurant, or playing another round of whack-a-mole for a few measly tickets, or sitting at a table full of four-year-old kids and listening to an animatronic rat sing the tunes...
