>I didn’t get it at first. I just thought, “Oh, that looks like fun.” Then I looked closer and then, well, um… I laughed. I feel a little like a jerk admitting that since everyone else seems to be concerned with your safety, but not totally like a jerk, because I’m still laughing too hard.
>Wow. And that’s exactly why I would have sent hubby by himself. Give me a Walmart raft, a margarita, and a pond any day.Seriously, though, it looks like fun. Well, all except the falling out part.
>I’m laughing so hard that the tears from my eyes are blurring your little water-logged body. I believe I’m also a first time commenter. Love your blog.
>Well, at least we know which seat to pick… the one you’re husband is in. I love how the boat came back up but you didn’t. Well, at least you did it! I’m dying to go. But let me reiterate… I’m sitting where your husband sat.
>Wow that looks amazing, Lindsay, you are quite the adventure-rer(sp). I know someone already asked you this in a prior comment, but, yes, who WAS your photographer? How were those pictures shot? Fantastic! For all of Lindsay’s readers, I was the recipient of one of Lindsay’s giveaways, it was the book, Driving Sideways, by Jess Riley, and you all have to do yourselves a favor this summer and read it. No really, it HAS to be read by each and every one of you in order for you to attain complete happiness. Thanks again Lindsay, and everyone else, you’re welcome 🙂
>I can’t believe you FELL OUT! LOL! I’m sorry, but that is hilarious. I’m sure it was scary for you and I will feel awful if you are hurt. But man, it’s so… ironic that you are the one who falls out and not Hubs. Congratulations on conquering your fears. So what did Hubs do to make it up to you?
>Looks like the Nantahala! Fun! Got a little sideways on a rock and went for a swim. We took the kids rafting in WV last summer and I spent the entire trip counting heads after each rapid. “1, 2, 3, whew!” and repeat the entire day.
>You.are.beautiful.Thank you for sharing this precious moment with us! THIS is why we have the internet. You have brought me laughter. I hope you are not sore, but just posting those pictures begs me to live through you. Hope you had fun despite the dipping.
>Well, that was a class 4+ rapid so they stationed a photographer across from it, because it was the best photo op of the trip- There was another picture taken that day of a raft behind ours where all you can see is a guy’s legs sticking up out of the water after he fell in, so I’m considering myself lucky!Today, I’m sore, but alive, and that’s all that matters, right? I hit a rock wall pretty hard after those photos were taken, but Hubs stuck a paddle out of the boat and kept the raft from sandwiching me between it and the rock, so I’m pretty glad he didn’t fall out!
>What river is that? I used to kayak and paddled a lot of the rivers that the NOC did but I don’t recognize that rapid. If you don’t fall out, you haven’t really run a rapid.
>Ah, a trip that will have you awash in memories, thanks to pictures ;)My last whitewater experience was dubbed the Poseidumb Adventure, and aptly so…and that’s why it was my last whitewater adventure… LOL
>oh my gosh – those pictures are awesome! Bet you paid an arm and a leg, but it’s worth it. I love in the third one, you are clinging for dear life to the raft and everyone is just worrying about themselves. Priceless!
>The Chatooga! That is one tough river. I never got to run it but I had a several of friends do it in kayaks. If you kayak or canoe, you’d better be very good to run the Chatooga.
>Blame it on the hubby. He clearly pushed you out of the raft. It looks like you were on the Nanny. Lots of fun there. Did you eat at the restraurent built over the river?
>Impressive! And I’m even more impressed that you were able to have quite the photogenic smile on your face in that first pic. Congrats! You’re one tough Momma!
>I almost died (and maybe you did too) when I got to the one where you’re under water…OMG. And the one with your teeth is pretty funny, too. 😉 Those candid “dur” moments are so hilarious, thank you for sharing!

>You rock.
>Who was the photographer??? Are you OK? I laughed outloud and then realized you might be a little sore. But once I have permission, I plan to laugh.
>Wow. And that’s exactly why I would have sent hubby by himself. Give me a Walmart raft, a margarita, and a pond any day.Seriously, though, it looks like fun. Well, all except the falling out part.
>That does not look like fun to me! At least you must be okay, if you are posting about it now!
>I’m laughing so hard that the tears from my eyes are blurring your little water-logged body. I believe I’m also a first time commenter. Love your blog.

>I would of pooped mu underpants! Good for you!
>I like how you’re the ONLY one that fell out.
>Well, at least we know which seat to pick… the one you’re husband is in. I love how the boat came back up but you didn’t. Well, at least you did it! I’m dying to go. But let me reiterate… I’m sitting where your husband sat.

>Dude, the only people that have a great story to tell when it’s over are the ones that FALL IN! 🙂
>Isn’t photoshop great?
>Don’t even front like that. I EARNED THESE BRUISES!
>Oh my goodness! You have some serious balls. I mean…er…DANG!
>What river is that? I used to kayak and paddled a lot of the rivers that the NOC did but I don’t recognize that rapid. If you don’t fall out, you haven’t really run a rapid.
>That is Seven Foot Falls on the Chattooga.
>And we LOVE NOC. It was our second trip with them. Highly recommended.
Priceless!
>That is the exact reason why I will NEVER do that. Ever! I would be the one to fall in and get bruised. I’m glad your ok.
>Oh my goodness, I am officially terrified of ever going rafting! 🙂 Beckyhttp://www.stinkylemsky.typepad.com/
>You are the bomb! I would never have the nerve, can’t even swim! You go girl!
>All I could think (hear?) when I saw the pictures was – “KER-PLUNK”. I would have been peeing my pants because water is scary!
>I think you may have jinxed yourself
>Hey…falling off is part of the fun. At least you did it gracefully and you looked darn good doing it. 🙂
>The Chatooga! That is one tough river. I never got to run it but I had a several of friends do it in kayaks. If you kayak or canoe, you’d better be very good to run the Chatooga.
>The guy in the back of the boat looked like he was smiling as though he found it a bit amusing. Looked like a lot of fun!
>Blame it on the hubby. He clearly pushed you out of the raft. It looks like you were on the Nanny. Lots of fun there. Did you eat at the restraurent built over the river?
>It was the rocky Chattooga! 🙂
>Yeah, those aren’t my teeth!!!!! That’s water! What am I, Bugs Bunny? 😉
