Win a Basket of Mary Kay Products!

Win a Basket of Mary Kay Products!

There’s a reason Mary Kay makeup has been around for so long: it’s seriously awesome. As a style blogger and makeup aficionado, I think I’ve tried just about every brand of makeup on the market, and Mary Kay is one of my faves. It’s very reasonably priced, and I don’t think I’ve ever tried a Mary Kay product I didn’t like and end up using regularly. I definitely can’t say that for other brands! That’s why I was thrilled to get the chance to try out a whole bunch of Mary Kay products and tell you what I think of them. I’ll list the products below with the description and my thoughts.

Mary Kay Compact Mini Beauty in the Palm of Your Hand. Take glam on the go with the Mary Kay Compact Mini. The ingenious refillable magnetic compact provides a discrete way to carry those beauty must-haves and accommodate your busy lifestyle. The Mary Kay Compact Mini is perfect for all women, whether you like to keep things simple or love to change your beauty scenery frequently! And donít forget to store those applicators in the hidden tray underneath the magnetic well. My thoughts: This is actually my second compact mini and I’m a huge fan. The magnetic eye shadows and blush are ingenious, fit right inside the case, and can be easily removed when they’re used up. And it’s basic black, which suits me very well for quick, fuss-free touch-ups when I’m out and about.

Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color Sparkling Eyes in Endless Shades. Through thick and thin, this long-lasting mineral-based wonder stays true, providing fade- and crease-resistant coverage when you need it most. The inclusion of Vitamins A, C and E helps protect against wrinkle-causing free radicals. Perfect for women ìon the go,î Mineral Eye Color fits into the customizable and sleek Mary Kay Compact family of products. My thoughts: True to color, Mary Kay eye shadow actually stays on my lids. SCORE.

Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color in Shy Blush Glowing Cheeks in the Hottest Shades. This cheek color applies smoothly and evenly, with the high-quality mineral formula staying put for long-lasting wear, from day to night. Sure to please makeup lovers everywhere, these true-color, high-quality shades fit perfectly into the Mary Kay Compact family of products. My thoughts: I have a hard time finding blush that looks natural, and this color is definitely it. I’ve already put quite a dent in mine!

Mary Kay Lash Primer The benefits are clear. Get more from your mascara and stronger, more voluminous, longer-looking lashes. This primer also strengthens and helps condition lashes. Plus, it lifts lashes and helps them stay curled longer. My thoughts: I’m all about primer, but this is the first time I’ve had it for my lashes! Now I’m addicted. It really does make my lashes look thicker and longer when I wear it under my mascara.

Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara in Black Boldly Voluptuous. When you want to go big, bold and dramatic, Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara is the most voluminous formula for longer-looking lashes that last all day. My thoughts: It doesn’t clump. It doesn’t run. It’s dramatic. I’m sold. And yes, I do like to use my mascara as a microphone. WHAT OF IT?

Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara in Black Fall in Love with Your Lashes. All the features women long for in a mascara– full, sultry, lengthening, eye-catching can be found in this mascara. By mixing moisturizing benefits from Panthenol Pro Complex and Vitamin E with a glam effect of volume and definition, not a lash will be left behind due to a flexible sculpting brush that separates and coats each individual lash for a clump- and flake-free and natural look. My thoughts: No clumping and it’s good for my lashes, too! YAY.

Mary Kay Lash Love Waterproof Mascara in Black Show your lashes some love with this formula that lasts for 10 hours or more.Holds up through sweat, rain, tears, humidity, and pool and salt water. And lashes appear fuller, lifted and multiplied. My thoughts: We all have moments when we REALLY need a good waterproof mascara, whether we’re swimming, going to see a tear-inducing movie or reuniting with our long-lost birth mother. I’m in!

Mary Kay NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss Kiss your lips with instant moisture, feel-good benefits and serious shine. This Mary Kay NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss includes fourteen gorgeous colors. You’ll love the superlight, long-lasting, formula and the good-for-your-lips ingredients, like antioxidants and botanical extracts, that leave lips smoothed, protected and conditioned. My thoughts: This lip gloss is definitely one of my favorite Mary Kay products. It’s like chapstick, gloss, and color all in one product. I’m especially excited to use it this winter, to keep my lips from getting dry!

TimeWise Microdermabrasion Set Instant Results. Fight fine lines, refine pores and achieve beautifully smooth skin immediately with this simple two-step set. Step 1: Refine is an advanced exfoliator using key exfoliating ingredients used by dermatologists to immediately energize skin and reveal more radiant, healthy-looking skin. Step 2: Replenish separates the set from the competition. It’s a rich serum, containing vitamins, antioxidants and anti-irritants.
My thoughts: I’m addicted. Seriously, after several weeks of using this set, my skin is looking fantastic and it feels softer than ever. Now that I’m in my mid-30s, I’m trying to take better care of my skin. This Microdermabrasion Set definitely does the job for me.

NEW Mary Kay TimeWise Repair Volu-Firm Eye Renewal Cream Reawaken Eyes and Restore a Youthful Appearance. Smooth, wrinkle-free skin is eye-deal at any age! A lifetime of animated facial expressions, sun exposure and squinting can cause the delicate, fragile skin of the eye area to become more susceptible to advanced signs of aging, which can contribute to a tired, older-looking appearance. Mary Kay helps combat these aging culprits with the all-new Mary Kay TimeWise RepairVolu-Firm Eye Renewal Cream. This rich, pampering, formula is part of the all-new Mary Kay TimeWise Repair Volu-Firm line of targeted products, containing ingredients that target sagging skin, crepiness, under-eye bags, puffiness and dark circles. The specially designed applicator is sculpted to fit the shape of the eye and deliver maximum benefits while providing a cooling, pampering experience. In order to see the benefits of this product, we recommend a 4- to 6-week minimum trial. My thoughts: Loving it! I’m NEVER without eye cream each night, and I love the cooling sensation of this Eye Renewal Cream. This cream is sweet relief!

These are some of my thoughts on these Mary Kay products. But I don’t want to be the only one around here having all the fun. That’s why I’m giving away a basket full of Mary Kay products to one lucky Suburban Turmoil reader.
