  11. CathyinShrewsbury says:

I turn EVERY dropped item in my daily life (trust me, I drop a LOT of things onto the floor), into a squat. Instead of stooping to pick it up (which unless you have a perfect technique can be hard on your back and neck), I squat nearby the item and feel around to get it and push back up with the back of my heels, and the muscles in my thighs. It has literally given me a shape that I never had all through high school! I’m now in my forties ~ look WAY better than the day I got married (FAT FAT FAT in 2004)! Now a size 8. Finally out of the Large Women’s section of clothes, 12X, 14W, etc. etc. love the new clothes I have to choose from!

    • purejoy says:

Wow. What an inspiration. With a back as bad as mine {late 40s}, squatting should be part of my repertoire. Congrats to leaving the 10, 12, and 14 behind! That is my hope one day.
