We have had a plethora of snow days lately at Casa Ferrier.
At first, the unexpected break was terrific- but now, the snow has melted, school’s STILL out, and parents all over the city are running out of things to do.
Fortunately, I have a few ideas for you, based on what WE’RE doing today…
Lie on the (filthy) kitchen floor and eat Doritos.
Get out all your Halloween masks from years gone by and wear them until you get high on the fumes of your own carbon dioxide.
Break out the secret candy stash.
Crack open one of those dusty coffee table books and expose your kid to Fine Art.
Play Monopoly Jr. for the eleventy-hundredth time.
Accuse your kid of cheating when he charges you double rent and takes all your money.
Throw the board in the air and go cry in the bathroom.
Accept your son’s peace offering of Doritos.
Dress the dog in an embarrassing outfit. Photograph her outrage for posterity.
Practice your duckface.
Have a staring contest.
Take another candy break.
Have your kid write his teacher a letter telling him what a great time he’s having on his days off from school.
Convince your kid that scratching your back is SO MUCH FUN!
Eat more Doritos.
Annnnnd that’s all I’ve got.
Seriously, Metro Nashville Public Schools.
THAT’S ALL I’VE GOT.

“Fine Art” is my favorite, but all of them made me smile! Hang in there!!
Actual quote from that shot: “Mom, there were naked butts in there!”
Ha!! Perfect! 😀
Are you wearing false eyelashes or lash inserts? If not, please tell me what mascara you’re using! (or did you just get dolled up for this photo shoot 😉
Seriously, my only thought was I want those lashes. Lindsey you are beautiful!
Super hilarious especially when you find yourself slightly delirious from all of the “family time” we have been enjoying lately. Fun read!
lol! Thanks for the laughs 🙂
Hope you are working on a Part 2 of this hysterical post! Bracing myself for Thursday.
